Finance Manager - Middle East Job - DuPont Products SA

• Overall responsibility to ensure DuPont internal & external financial statements are prepared timely in accordance with local and US GAAP reporting regulations as well as internal company policies & procedures.
• Responsible for reporting to meet requirements of local commercial code, other legal / tax authorities and those of the parent company.
• Essential member of the Country and Regional Leadership Teams who brings financial expertise to all aspects of the business. Provide a finance support to the Country Leaders on day-to-day business matters.

• Lead projects including process optimisation, infrastructural needs (such as new legal entity creations) and system upgrades.
• Act as the custodian of the policies and procedures such as code of conduct, gift and entertainment policy, export control
• Lead and manage the finance team (3 direct reports), ensuring that the team have clear priorities and direction,
• Act as change agent and be responsible for driving process improvements. Implement processes and practices to ensure adequate staffing, effective recruitment and development of all personnel.

• Assist the Director Strategic Planning & Evaluation in establishing the annual plan for the Strategic Planning & Evaluation Department.
• Support in the development of company’s project management framework (PMF) including the project governance framework, reporting templates and frequency, the process of risk and issue identification and mitigation, the process of change enablement and communication, project benefit tracking and realization mechanism.
• Assist company’s Executive Management in defining the scope of special projects and initiatives in addition to key deliverables and key outcomes; perform cost and benefit analyses on proposed company initiatives.
• Lead the identification of third parties for the purpose of special projects; this includes developing and issuing RFPs which accurately reflect project requirements as well as financial and time constraints on the project.
• Coordinate with company’s Legal Affairs Unit to develop contracts for third parties, ensuring that terms and conditions are clearly documented and highlighted.
• Review project plans proposed by third parties ensuring that they cater to project requirements.
• Produce weekly internal project status reports to update the Director General and other members of the Planning & Development team on the current status of special projects; highlight any significant changes as per the PMF.

• Act as a representative of company to the International community, i.e., research institutes, funding bodies, in support of the Team Lead- International Relationships in maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship.
• Manage the creation of new centers (develop, incubate, operate and transfer) through providing oversight on the Team Lead -Planning & Development.
• Guide the Team Leads in executing their respective responsibilities towards the achievement of the Departments’ goals and objectives as well as those of company.
