CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Our client is a leading manufacturer of petrochemicals such as methanol, butanediol, to name a few. They successfully market their products to a wide customer base including construction, pharmaceutical and electronics clients.

Due to the growing needs of the business they require a Construction Manager to join their team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia


OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Construction Manager is responsible in providing leadership for the safe and effective management of the construction site with multiple EPC contractors working on the same site.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Overall direction and coordination of all the company construction team personnel
• Establish and implement construction execution philosophy in accordance with and in response to each EPC Contractors obligations and the project requirements
• Review and approve overall project construction plans, contractual deliverables, schedules, activities and progress
• Coordinate constructability efforts of technical disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated progress for the job site
• Ensure full compliance with project construction requirements, quality plans and project schedule
• Responsible for leading and implementing Company’s construction Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs at site

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 10 years in a petrochemical / refinery environment within the Engineering, Procurement, (EPC) industry
• Extensive experience and knowledge in executing large industrial construction projects
• Construction Manager with experience in successfully executing large scale projects of $300 - 500M USD
• Middle East experience preferred
• Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization
• Proven ability to work independently
• A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
