Oracle’s marketing team in ECEMEA (Eastern Central Europe and the Middle East and Africa) is a well oiled machine. We are a very structured organization with defined roles and processes.
The candidate will be part of a very successful team in charge of demand generation, and creation of leads and opportunities to sustain sales pipeline.
The individual in this role will sit amongst a team of strategists that focus on various capabilities. To be successful in this role will require the abilities to quickly become an expert on a new area of focus but also be a strong collaborator.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Pre-Event
Identifying suitable event dates.
Indentifying suitable venues.
Venue booking and complete logistical setup.
Branding.
Identifying event resources (helping with selection of speakers, creating speaker briefing docs) - done with the help of Jehan.
Creating e-blasts, Registration pages, posting events on Oracle.com and social media.
Requesting lists from Shared Services.
Event call downs.
Target audience filtration - sending apology emails to non-qualifying persons.
Preparing content with the help of content team (creating beehive workspace and adding event stakeholder to it) - done with the help of Jehan.
Getting target customers lists from Sales - courtesy calls.
Preparing event agenda sheet.
Preparing event feedback forms.
Ordering giveaways/collaterals.
Liaising with suppliers.
Submitting invoices to finance and ensuring suppliers are paid promptly.
Attaining Imarah permits.
Preparing overall budget sheet.
Providing daily registrations and call down statistics to Marilyn.
Ensuring a PO is raised and finances are in order. Proving PO proof to suppliers before start of event.
2. During Event
In charge of event registration (data entry of attendees) - for up to 150 attendees (anything above, an agency is required or pooled resources - whichever the more economical option).
Event management - delivery and set-up of appropriate branding.
Ensuring A/V, appropriate event setup (U shaped, roundtable, theatre, classroom). Working MIC, clicker, hig-def projectors, focus, brightness, sound level all optimum.
Managing speaker timings - keeping track of schedule
Managing break times and lunches (prayer breaks too). Ensuring audience enter the rooms during non-break hours.
Submitting/ uploading event registration list within 4 hours of event’s closure.
Proper event wrap up.
Collecting feedback forms + business cards.
Taking pictures and documenting event.
3. Post Event
Event feedback forms data entry.
Producing post event analysis reports (within 2 days post event).
Follow-up with sales regarding leads/oppty’s.
Follow-up with MarketOne/Panovus (if event is covered in contract).
Provide pipeline report (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Other than events: transactional campaigns, deep-drive or surf campaigns, e-marketing, event advertising ( to carry out tasks as instructed by manager).
New initiatives: The candidate is not confined to the above limited job description, and is encouraged to come up with new ideas that will help the marketing team achieve their goals. Candidate must position himself as an indispensible/great asset to the team. It is expected that candidate carries out extra activities and sell himself within the organization.

The candidate is required to be flexible and cooperative if required working outside the above mentioned working hours (events, travel, and emergencies only).
Travel is necessary and candidate must be willing to travel in short notices. This role is Saudi based but occasionally the need arises to extend support to the ME team.
• Working Days:
o Saturday - Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
o Thursday: 09:00 a.m. - 02:00 p.m.
o Friday & Public Holidays: OFF.
