About the role
Our Desk Attendant assigns rooms to room attendants and supports the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping Operation. Responds to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum employee satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies and standards.
What you will do
Assigns rooms to room attendants, dispatches houseman and runners on requests and supports the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping Operation.
Responsible of processing rooms controlling.
Communicates closely and regularly with front office in terms of room assignments and arrivals.
Ensuring all calls are dealt with to meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels.
Keeps informed of any extraordinary or emergency situations are relating to supervisor or managers including any guest complaints or problems.
Redirects guests’ requests with highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotel.
Records all follow-up actions required in telephone logbook.
Performs inventory accurately and on a timely manner as per Four Seasons Hotel.
Records following up documentations accurately and completely.
What you bring
Diploma or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in a 5-star luxury hotel/resort environment in an entry level position is preferred; Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English Languages.
Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organizational capabilities.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Ability to solve problem relating to guests, with strong customer service skills.
Strong self-starting personality and ability to display professional attitude and appearance always.
Ability to work in a team setting, providing support to co-workers whenever called upon to offer assistance.
