The Job – Software Engineering Internship
What you'll be doing:
Understanding business value of projects to be done and making sure technical solution is aligned with customer value
Owning project delivery for important and complex projects that span multiple quarters
Setting a high bar for engineering excellence and ensuring system quality does not dip
Proactively thinks about how things could breakdown and prevents them
Able to produce more technical scope than they consume, creating space for other engineers to grow
Identify struggling teammates and offers help and coaching
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field
Proven track record of driving complex projects from inception to delivery
Experience in leading other engineers through influence not authority
Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS like Heroku, AWS or other
Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus
