Software Engineer (Odoo)

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Odoo ERP platform and a strong track record of delivering complex Odoo projects. You will work closely with other developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy customized solutions that meet our clients' unique business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design customized Odoo solutions
• Develop and deploy new Odoo modules, applications, and integrations
• Maintain and optimize existing Odoo applications and modules
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
• Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of Odoo solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to creating a positive development culture
• Stay up-to-date with Odoo platform updates, community contributions, and new trends in ERP development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in Odoo development and customization
• Strong understanding of the Odoo platform and its core modules
• Proven experience developing and deploying custom Odoo modules, applications, and integrations
• Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL database management and optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
