Manager of Application Development and Integration

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Associate Director of Application Development and Integration. In this role, you will spearhead and mentor a team of application development engineers, driving excellence in software development practices and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing development strategies, integrating DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, and designing robust infrastructure solutions. Additionally, you will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Lead and mentor a team of application development engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development guidelines.
• Define and implement development strategies, processes, and standards to optimize development workflows and enhance productivity across the organization.
• Collaborate with software development, operations, and quality assurance teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Establish and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions for provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability, availability, and performance.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures and compliance standards within the environment.
• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, automation, and IT operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of Project Management tools like MS Project, Jira and Project Management methodologies like Agile, Scrum & Waterfall
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of leading successful DevOps initiatives (preferred).
• Strong technical background in software development, system administration, and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of middleware programming & tools like Mulesoft or Workato.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of PHP, React JS, Angular JS, Next, HTML, HTML, React, Python.
• Experience in UI/UX design & Development.
• Knowledge in Generative AI, Neural Networks, Natural language Processing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
