Group Chief Accountant Job

Job Description -
• Formulate, align and lead the Group’s accounting goals within those set by the Finance Manager
• Manage a team of 20 accountants and overseeing the accounting function of the entire Group
• Reviewing the journal vouchers that are posted on to the ERP system and managing the monthly Trial Balance preparation
• Responsible for owning the chart of accounts and making amendments to the same on a regular basis
• Overseeing the A/R and A/P process and also the accruals posting activity every month
• Supervise detailed review / analysis of general ledger accounts and review of account reconciliations.
• Regularly advising the Finance Manager on any Accounting related issues and give working solution to make the function more efficient
• Completing review of month-end balance sheet, addressing items which require resolution
• Assisting in preparing commentary on monthly and annual variance analysis
• Ensuring the financial reports on the finance system properly reflects operating results, accruals and adjustments
• Responsible for streamlining the consolidation of the monthly and year-end MIS reports
• Maintaining appropriate internal controls and safeguards to ensure a strong internal control environment
• Assisting or leading key strategic initiatives of the Company as directed by the Senior management, involving accounting / audit / compliance reviews
• Coordination with other departments (Procurement, Legal, Human Resources, Administration, etc.) for purposes of identifying accounting implications
• Interacting with external auditors and acting as a key contact by supporting them with explanations during the audit process
• Playing a lead role in coaching and developing the Accounting team to keep them abreast of new accounting standards

DRAUGHTSMAN (Mechanical)

 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with AutoCAD (Mechanical) certification.
 Five (5) years AutoCAD drafting experience in preparing piping isometrics and equipment sketches in refinery/petrochemical/fertilizer industry.
 Prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.

 3D drawing experience required

NDT INSPECTOR

 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years NDT experience.
 ASNT Level ll Certification in RT, UT, MT, PT, ET (Eddy Current Testing) methods. ASNT Level lll is desirable in any four methods
 Proficient in Eddy Current Testing, Tube Flux Leakage Testing, Remote visual inspection of Heat Exchanger Tubes, MFL Testing of Storage tank bottom plates, Ultrasonic shear wave examination of welds and Interpretation of Radiographs is essential.
 AWS CWI or equivalent certification is desirable.
 Five (5) years experience as NDT Inspector in Refinery / Petrochemical Industry is essential.

CORROSION INSPECTOR

 Diploma in Chemical / Electrical Engineering with 10 years corrosion experience.

 Proficient in at least Three of the following activities:

• Cathodes Protection

• Painting and Coating activities

• Failure Analysis related activities

• Water and Chemical Treatment activities

• Material and Metallurgy related activities

 NACE Certification or Equivalent is desirable.

 Five years experience as Corrosion Inspector in Refinery/Petrochemical Industry is essential.
