Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kitchen Equipment maintenance and repair work, with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing electrical systems, plumbing systems, and HVAC systems.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, and propose appropriate solutions.
3. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty equipment and components.
4. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including documentation of repairs, parts used, and costs.
6. Coordinate with other departments and contractors to schedule and perform maintenance work.
7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations and safety guidelines.
8. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to maintenance and repair work.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Prior experience working as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Flexibility to work during off-hours and weekends as needed.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
