Finance Business Partner External Manufacturing MEA(Fixed Term Contract)
This position is for one year contract
JOB PURPOSE
He contributes to the business value creation by working closely with Business heads. Challenges the status quo aiming at improving efficiency in the way we do business. Provides business and financial decision support aligned with strategic priorities and contributing to the corporate strategy. Builds short and mid-term financial forecasts leveraging. Develops accurate financials for the forecasts, budget, strat plan processes that reflect the business strategy. Coordinates with key internal stakeholders across various discipline and groups. Ensures right level of financial communication with EM teams.
In addition, FBP of External Manufacturing is responsible for data preparation and reporting. is the owner of our reporting tools such as TM1, Boost, SAP-CEP. He is in charge of analysis of the actual monthly financial results for all countries under her scope. The FBP EMG is also managing master data of the financial systems and ensuring that reporting is done in line with the Sanofi Universal calendar.
He analyses performance through P&L and defined KPIs & monitors performance vs set targets.
Performs financial and business analyses either on project or operational/strategic matters (including new opportunities, acquisitions, alliances and partnerships)
He makes sure corporate finance procedures are implemented and respected (AED, contracts, SOA...)

Main responsibilities:
Strategic: Manufacturing Supply Agreement Committee
He participates to the strategy definitions and supports management in decision making process by providing finance expertise.
Also, he will have to share the following elements review of finance projects updates and status, forecasting process update.…
risk management and internal control updates.*
Manage the financial relationship with the CMOs*
Manage the execution of contracts and decide on their financial aspects in collaboration with the EM team.*
Assess the risks and opportunities of contracts and the commercial relationship with partners*
Contributing to strategic/ business development by financial evaluation within the head of External Manufacturing*
Propose efficient recourse allocation for his countries of responsibility and assist in excellent resource allocation.
Reporting
Perform full analysis of the P&L.*
Calculate TDB business indicators*
Ensure key financial information is submitted on time and accurately into group planning tools*
Consolidate qualitative comments to share with the international team.*
Providing support to the Finance Operations teams in managing the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes through transparent information exchanges*
Business partnering/ Budget & forecast cycle
Ensure respect of internal deadlines for reporting purposes*
Provide standardized and harmonized reports to be used for monthly reporting and dashboards distributed by the respective GBU’s, GSF and IA Finance BPs*
Track healthy savings initiatives per TM1 vs targets*
Support and work with internal and external audit and prepare the documents required by auditors*
Prepare & Monitor landing*
Support the forecasting cycles of External Manufacturing: runs models and validates data accuracy (revenue, opex, headcount, P&L), produce budgeting and forecasting outputs*
Support the T1, T2 and 3YFF cycles driving consistency in calendars and standards across the countries.*
Produce high quality standard management reporting, budgeting and forecasting outputs for Ext.Manuf.*
Ensure budget & forecast P&L and HC Regional adjustments are properly & timely reflected in the tools*
Review alliances charges & revenue loaded into TM1 as part of the budget & forecast cycle, ensure compliance with Corporate & Regional instructions (rate, duration)*
Internal Control
Ensures a comprehensive compliance with all internal control and financial/accounting principles within his/her perimeter and contributes to maintain Business Leaders’ integrated view of finance topics.*
Manage and monitoring the Internal control.*
Work in close collaboration with the Internal control team to mitigate risk, comply with mandatory controls, provide evidence as part of control self-assessment campaign or internal audit*
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Audit, Accounting or related degrees*
Experience:
3 years of work experience preferably in Controlling / Corporate Finance environment*
High level of financial information systems knowledge: preferably SAP, TM1Strong data management experience*
Major skills and competencies:
System/tools advanced capabilities (TM1/SAP/BW, dashboard, Excel/PowerPoint, SharePoint, ClickView)*
Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine and present complex information in a simple manner*
Able to work in a demanding environment.*
Ability to organize, manage and prioritize deadlines.*
