Maintenance Technician Job - Dhofar Beverages & Food Stuff CO. SAOG

Perform a variety of skilled and semiskilled tasks pertaining to the installation, maintenance, repair and service of the electrical/electronic equipment, instruments and structures used within the plant; and provide technical staff support to plant operations.

Job Summary
- Perform maintenance and repair duties for the production lines and related facilities.
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service plant machinery and equipment including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, motors, compressors, boiler and computerized control systems; rebuild and overhaul pumps, pneumatic control systems and blower units; inspect and calibrate gauges and meters; inspect and test air quality analyzers; perform or make recommendations regarding a wide variety of maintenance and repair projects.
- Perform corrective electrical/ electriconic maintenance by troubleshooting the cause of malfunctions using visual inspection and precision measuring and testing instruments and replacing or repairing broken parts.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance checks and servicing on equipment by implementing maintenance schedules.
- Monitor supplies and help maintain appropriate inventories of spare parts and materials; assist with estimating quantities of spare parts materials and supplies needed and placing orders.
- Rebuild equipment as needed; disassemble and clean items; order replacement parts and repair mechanical or electrical malfunctions; reassemble and test items.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools used in the performance of assigned duties.
- Fabricate parts and equipment as needed such as mounts, brackets and shields; operate welding and cutting equipment.
- Perform general plumbing, electrical and carpentry duties as required.
- Prepare reports, forms, correspondence and related documentation regarding assigned operations in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

About the Job:

The Sales Engineer will be charged with managing all Himoinsa generator product sales activities within the country. - Contributing to the achievement of revenue, unit sales and customer engagement through effective sales process management, increasing customer retention and efficient distribution strategy.

- Ensures policies and procedures are followed during purchasing, receiving, storing, shipping, raw material evaluations, sanitation and compliance with good manufacturing, distribution and laboratory practices.
- Contacts the suppliers/ reviews supplier’s data on an on-going basis and keeps the supplier matrix updated on an on-going basis. Follows up with the suppliers on the missing/expired documentations on a regular basis and as per outlined in Vendor Approval program
- Performs evaluation of raw materials
- Conducts relevant physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw material as per specifications

Sales Officer Job - Damas International Limited

Principle Accountabilities

1. To pick-up shop key from Head Office every morning and return key at the end of each working day (where applicable).
2. To clean entire shop, along with colleagues, including floor, counters, doors, windows, garbage disposal and all equipment.
3. To clean, polish and re-arrange all product display material in use or not in use and report to Supervisor excessive display material lying unutilized.
4. To check for accuracy and proper functioning, weighing scales, calculators, Diamond Tester and all other equipments.
5. To greet all persons entering the shop, assess and understand customer requirements & aspirations and invite them to the specific counter; ensure no customer is unattended.
6. Provide all required product and price information to the customer and effectively close the sale; request Supervisor to take over in event of any difficulty.
7. Prepare invoices thoroughly without any corrections or over-writing for all sales made.
8. Ensure proper amounts of payments are received from the customer and proper change/balance amounts are returned; ensure proper procedures are followed in case of Credit Card sales.
9. In case of non-availability of a product, understand the exact product requirement of the customer, record it in the Promise Book/Order Book and communicate the same to the Shop Manager; follow-up on the same.
10. Receive repair orders from customer, understand exact requirements, prepare repair bags and ensure all repair bags are kept in the proper designated place; ensure all repair orders are entered in the relevant register and send to the Workshop
11. Follow-up on the repair orders for timely delivery; Inspect and ensure all repairs have been carried out in accordance with the customer's requirements before informing the customer.
12. To inform and follow-up with customers of booked and repaired products and report action to Shop-Incharge.
13. Prepare and submit the Daily Sales Report to the Shop-Incharge.
14. Ensure prominent display of all advertising and POS material in shop.
15. Ensure adequate availability of Customer Complaint / Suggestions blank forms in Arabic/English; inform the customers of availability of the forms.
16. Participate in all stock-taking exercises.

Description and Desired Qualifications
Market demand for asset management in the Middle East region is beginning to grow significantly, and is expected to continue in this mode. Due to this growth we are looking for an experienced Asset Manager with strong commercial acumen to manage a multi-disciplined, multi-ethnic team.
Working closely with the Client, you will provide leadership, guidance and expertise regarding the asset management of electrical utilities such as substations, transformers, switch gear, pylons, power lines and other electrical T&D related assets. You will provide the platform and tools to assist the Client to implement “change-management” strategies to engender performance, cultural and policy improvements and, ultimately, achieve PAS 55 certification. The initial project will be based in Oman, however, future projects could be located throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Travel is, therefore, a major component of the role.

About the Job:

We currently have an opening for an experienced Business Unit Finance Manager, for Honda Business to join OMASCO.
The role will report to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Omasco and will have a dotted line reporting to Regional Head of Finance for Honda.
The responsibilities of this role are:

- Delivering robust Daily Sales Report, monthly P&L and KPI reporting, applicable commentaries and key balance sheet items such as inventory / receivables, as applicable to the Honda business.

- Providing effective monthly and annual forecasting processes to the business, along with comments and analysis, sensitivity, and graphical presentations.

- Ensuring financial integrity and reliability, reviewing and strengthening business internal controls and procedures, implementation of DOA, and providing leadership on process and governance.

- Facilitate setting up of business objectives and ensure timely submission of Annual Plan and Rolling forecasts.

- Review of Business performance against the plan and report operational efficiencies to the Managing Director of OMASCO (MD) / Regional Managing Director (RMD) for corrective action and to ensure financial objectives of the company are met.

- Drive preparation of monthly Management reports to business and the Management Board.

- Present Divisional and Retail KPI's for benchmarking and sharing best practices across locations

- Evaluate and validate inventory planning of the business units and recommend areas for improvement to MD and RMD.

- Provide support to MD / RMD to ensure Receivable and overdue levels of the business units are as per agreed target.

- To support and advise MD and Divisional GMs in (i) commercial review and analysis for decision making (to achieve business objectives); (ii) Capex evaluation and recommendation, Project evaluation and recommendation, (iii) conduct business reviews (iv) DOA requirements

- Advice and support the business units in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements.

- To support MD / RMD in review of policy and procedures of the company and recommend improvement plans to strengthen internal controls.

- Evaluate business response to Internal Audit and ensure timely implementation of Audit Recommendations and compliance with OMASCO Finance support.
