What is Expert Treasury Operations - Insurance?

We are seeking an Expert in Treasury Operations with a focus on insurance to support our telecom company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing treasury operations related to insurance, including general insurance and claim settlement. The role reports directly to the Manager of Treasury Operations and has 2 people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 3 team members.

What Expert Treasury Operations - Insurance does?

• Insurance Operations: Manage end-to-end insurance operations, including policy administration, claims processing, and regulatory compliance related to general insurance and asset valuation.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with insurance operations, including currency fluctuations, regulatory changes, and supply chain disruptions.
• Treasury Management: Collaborate with finance teams and banks to manage treasury operations related to insurance, including cash flow management, trade finance instruments, and international payment processes.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with insurance providers, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize treasury operations and insurance processes by implementing best practices, leveraging technology solutions, and driving efficiency.
• Knowledge of Foreign Trade: Understanding of foreign trade operations is desirable, although the primary focus will be on treasury operations related to insurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in insurance operations or related field.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, claims, and regulations.
• Experience in treasury operations related to insurance is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
