JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a seasoned Java developer with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and proficiency in Eclipse IDE to join our agile development team. As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications. Your expertise in OOP and Eclipse will be essential in architecting robust and scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver cutting-edge software solutions.
Utilize advanced object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns to develop robust and scalable Java applications.
Leverage Eclipse IDE for efficient development, debugging, and testing of Java code.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and propose technical solutions that align with business objectives.
Design and implement RESTful web services using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jersey.
Implement data access logic using Hibernate ORM framework and SQL databases like MySQL or Oracle.
Develop and maintain user interfaces using technologies like Servlets, JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software components.
Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards and design guidelines.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in Java development, and evaluate their potential impact on our projects.
Mentor junior developers, share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Proficiency in Eclipse IDE for Java development, including code editing, debugging, and version control integration.
Extensive experience with Java EE technologies and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA, etc.
Solid understanding of web application development principles and technologies, including Servlets, JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
Proficiency in Eclipse IDE for Java development, including code editing, debugging, and version control integration.
Extensive experience with Java EE technologies and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA, etc.
Solid understanding of web application development principles and technologies, including Servlets, JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
