Mechanical Draftsman

INTECH Process Automation is looking for an energized and capable professional for the role of a Mechanical Draftsman, the primary objective of them would be to ensure that the given targets are completed within the given timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of mechanical equipment & Piping
• Comprehensive knowledge of International codes & standards related to Piping design and Drafting
• Generate the 3D / 2D models for FEED level piping & equipment designs including skid based structures
• Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices
• Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements.
• Maintain drafting standards design documentation including drafting log
• Verification of BOMs / BOQs and generation of Red line mark ups
• Attend CAD model reviews as required.

• Associate degree in drafting
• 8 to 10 years of experience in mechanical drafting related to Oil & Gas Industry
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and CADWorx /PDMS/Tekla
• Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel
• Strong attention to detail and able to work within strict deadlines
