As a Senior Ideation & Project Manager, you will be part of the RSS Enterprise Capabilities Team and report to the Chapter Lead for Project Management and Ideation.


Your Opportunity


Engagement Delivery


In this role, you will consult our internal partners prior to project initiation and you will be responsible for successful project ideation. Your work will include but will not be limited to:


  • Understanding the challenge an organization is trying to address as well as the outcomes our partners are striving for


  • Conducting organizational assessments identifying the current and desired states regarding identified improvement areas


  • Leading the co-creation and tailoring of pragmatic solutions to address already known business challenges and helping to surface the still unknown ones 


You will also be responsible for successful Project or Program Delivery using agile or traditional project management methodology. Your work will include but will not be limited to:


  • Understanding the business goal(s) and value of the project and striving to deliver the defined benefits to the organization


  • Leading global project teams ensuring clear roles and responsibilities and resource assignment to the project / program plan deliverables


  • Ensuring that the critical success factors of reliability, compliance, efficiency, sustainability, time to value are managed throughout the entire lifecycle of the projects / programs


  • Effectively managing stakeholders through the establishment of key relationships and developing an understanding of their organizations


  • Contributing to business development opportunities where appropriate


Capability Building 


Be an active member of the Project Management and Ideation Chapter by  


  • Helping mature the project management and ideation capabilities, service offerings and community engagement leveraging latest developments and market dynamics


  • Supporting the development of training content and toolkits for our team. Actively managing your ideation and project management upskilling and applying your learnings during engagements and sharing these learnings with your chapter colleagues


Who you are


  • You have a university degree and 10+ years of business consultancy-related work experience.


  • You bring a strong knowledge in project management fundamentals (waterfall, SCRUM and others) and problem solving approaches.


  • You have extensive experience in leading global/complex projects, from idea stage to implementation, organizing and optimizing resources and establishing clear priorities.


In addition, you bring the following qualifications, experience and personal attributes


  • Broad expertise in several business areas, preferably as part of the value chain (R&D, Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain)


  • Strong track record of motivating, coaching and developing individuals and teams, especially within a project setup


  • Demonstrated team play, continuous improvement mindset and the ability to successfully navigate in an environment with many unknowns


  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating, and effective global collaboration across business partners and levels of seniority


  • Self-driven, adaptable and resilient, with a growth mindset
