Job Role: Scrum Master

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary facilitator of Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams on Agile principles, practices, and processes, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment and coordination across teams and stakeholders.
• Remove impediments and blockers hindering the progress of Agile teams, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and is ready for sprint planning.
• Track and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and key metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvements.
• Foster a culture of accountability and ownership within Agile teams, empowering team members to take ownership of their commitments and deliverables.
• Lead by example, embodying Agile values and principles, and championing Agile best practices and continuous learning within the organization.
• Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSP, SAFe) preferred.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Agile principles, with hands-on experience implementing Agile practices and processes.
• Experience working with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps) and proficiency in Agile project management practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business,
• Proven experience (5+ years) serving as a Scrum Master for Agile software development teams, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and influence teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of effectively addressing challenges and driving solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement and learning, with a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies

Location: Pakistan

Work Timing: 9am - 6:30pm

Work Days: Monday - Friday

Experience: 5+ years

Work Mode: Remotely

Salary: Depends upon experience
