What You’ll Do
Lead the administration of Tableau Server, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced data warehousing strategies, meeting complex business requirements.
Drive Tableau visualization initiatives, creating sophisticated dashboards and reports that offer actionable insights.
Mentor and guide junior team members in creating impactful visualizations.
Utilize advanced SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for reporting purposes.
Write complex SQL queries, both within Tableau and externally, to address specific business requirements.
Implement robust data warehousing strategies, ensuring efficient data retrieval for Tableau reporting.
Document configurations, processes, and procedures comprehensively.
Collaborate seamlessly with teams in different locations, ensuring optimal Tableau operations during respective work hours.
Provide expert-level support and training to end-users, addressing advanced issues or queries.
What You Know
A minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience with Tableau.
Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
Knowledgeable about various Tableau desktop features like advanced calculations, parameters, joins, blending, stories, dashboards, user based authentication etc
Well versed with the differences between various versions of Tableau Desktop, Server, managing tableau server sites, users, projects and access permissions.
Experience with Scrum or other Agile processes
Natural technical and functional curiosity
Tableau certified profile is major plus.
Education
Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field.
