Closing Date: 05-05-2024 JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently recruiting for a Bartender for one of the most dynamic and exciting leisure venues in Doha. West Bay beach, under the management of Discover Qatar, comprises 3 absolute beachfront fully licensed venues;
- Doha Sands, an exclusive and private beach club for in house guests staying at participating West Bay hotels
- The Bistro; a fully licensed restaurant, open from 7am until midnight with a capacity of 200, serving light casual meals and also catering for special events, movie and sports event screenings and private groups.
- B12 Beach Club, Qatar’s largest private beach club featuring the largest inflatable in the country, a range of international food and beverage outlets, general admission and VIP sections, a resident DJ and popular weekend brunches.
The role is responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. Expected to be attentive at all times to the guest’s needs and make them feel welcomed, comfortable, important and relaxed.
Other key responsibilities are:
Greet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers and/or directly from guests. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with approved standards. Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase or consumption of alcohol. Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests. Assist in preparing weekly/monthly inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies. Serve beverage, snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar. Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of work space as required. Stock bar and maintain proper inventory, preparing mis-en-place for each shift. Provide guidance to guests in selecting beverage drinks.

Qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with:
· High School certificate or equivalent
· At least two years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
· Experienced in HACCP and quality assurance implementation or Related Bar Training
· Excellent people and customer experience skills
