About the role


Support the Business Manager of Discover Qatar / Qatar Airways Holiday and conduct the daily, weekly and monthly generation of Dashboard Reporting for the business. Manage the database of the reservation system information for both businesses to enable clean data is available for running various reports. Monitor internal projects through a defined framework ensuring good governance and ensure a complete understanding of various departmental operational processes and requirements, to ensure the provision of effective reporting and Data Analytics.
Other key responsibilities are:


-          Discovering, extracting, cleaning, manipulating, validating and organizing messy and complex data for easy data analysis from multiple data sources.


-          Integrate and load data to a centralized location (If needed)


-          Perform exploratory data analysis on the data loaded, conduct consistent, accurate and focused analysis of all aspects of commercial performance of the businesses in order to identify both emerging performance trends and new opportunities


-           Perform data visualization: transforming data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals


-          Responsibility for the production, maintain and distribution of a wide array of ad hoc reports or Dashboards with a high level of security, accuracy and efficiency


-          Generate and maintain a wide array of ad hoc reports involving creating of new processes and programs to support the various internal departments.


-          Perform analytical support to other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the manager


-          Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of Department.


Qualifications

About You


-          Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 2 years of job-related experience


-          Data visualization experience – Tableau/Power/Qlik/Google Data Studio or equivalent


-          Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Access, and Power Point and advanced proficiency Excel.


-          Strong command of verbal and written communication skills in a multicultural, multinational environment and teams.


-          Strong Analytical Background, ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights


-          Proven initiative to develop creative and effective reports


-          High level of attention to detail to consistently provide reports/analysis with a very high level of accuracy


-          Presentation skills
