Overview

Looking for a dynamic individual with prior Contracts Administration or similar experience including support in a contingency environment. Will be responsible for responding to Requests for Proposal, negotiating Change Orders, reviewing and submitting Contract Deliverables, guiding customer change requests, and overseeing Contract Administration tasks. Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Leads external customer liaison activities to include attendance at customer meetings, correspondence both verbal and written with customer personnel, and leading meetings with internal and external customers. (35%)
  • Prepares formal recommendations to management to execute contractual documents such as modifications, Memorandum of Agreements, Administrative Change Letters, and Letters of Technical Direction. Reviews such contractual documents to identify scope and clause changes, funding or contract value changes, and provides input to support any risk associated with acceptance of modifications. (25%)
  • Provides internal customer support through guidance of contract requirements and process for changes to requirements. (20%)
  • Oversight of review and submittal of Contracts deliverable requirements to the customer and provides recommended changes. (10%)
  • Oversees contract administration tasks including scheduling proposal meetings, negotiations, and customer meetings. (10%)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of college or equivalent degree (Associates).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years broad-based U.S. Government contracts management or similar experience, including experience with contract cost/pricing and proposal development. Have a thorough working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), contract law, and the RFP process.

Skills and Technology Used:


  • Must have strong demonstrated business management, contract negotiation, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Basic level of proficiency with MS Office software.
  • Should have a good understanding of Government procurement, Federal Government contracts, regulations, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask with numerous high priority demands in an intense, deadline-driven environment is a must.
