Position: Denter Automotive Body Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Denter to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will specialize in repairing and refurbishing the bodywork of vehicles damaged in accidents or due to general wear and tear. The Denter will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, performing repair work, and ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Damage Assessment:
   

   
   
   • Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine the necessary repair work.
     
   • Prepare detailed reports on the extent of damage and the expected repair work and costs.
     

2. Bodywork Repair:
   

   
   
   • Perform denting work to repair damaged vehicle frames and body parts.
     
   • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including hammers, dolly sets, and body files, to remove dents and restore vehicle bodies to their original shape.
     

3. Welding and Fabrication:
   

   
   
   • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or replace vehicle body parts.
     
   • Ensure all welding work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
     

4. Finishing Work:
   

   
   
   • Apply fillers and other materials to repaired surfaces to prepare them for painting.
     
   • Sand, buff, and polish repaired body parts to create a smooth, finished surface.
     

5. Quality Control:
   

   
   
   • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure that the work meets quality standards and the vehicle's functionality is restored.
     
   • Coordinate with the paint department to ensure color match and overall aesthetic integrity.
     

Essential Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; certification or vocational training in automotive body repair is highly preferred.
  
• Proven experience as a Denter or Automotive Body Technician.
  
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and tools.
  

Skills Required:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  
• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to denting and body repair.
  
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.

• Valid driver's license.
  
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when necessary.
