The ENTERTAINER is looking for a Key Account Executive for their Qatar office. The Key Account Executive will represent the ENTERTAINER, its products and services in liaising direct with customers in negotiating and agreeing participation mobile and online products, ensuring growth in participation and advertising revenue, participating outlets and product sales.


Essential Duties- What are the main tasks for this job?


  • Responsible for managing key accounts in the F&B, Entertainment, Beauty, Health and Service Industries with a view to securing merchant participation and advertising revenue.
  • Manage product development/service mix with reference to merchant participation, web promotions, advertising and customer service expectations.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new merchants and with advertisers.
  • Use our Global CRM system (Salesforce) to update relevant merchant information.
  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries from merchants.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information to management.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Handle merchant concerns, queries and complaints.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new products and services, special developments, information or feedback to customer base.
  • Direct Sales
  • Responsible for the direct selling of the product, books and mobile application, in territory, directly after signing season or as directed by line manager.
  • Identify companies, organizations, associations, government departments and other bodies that meet our demographic and target market and develop a sales strategy to meet Direct Sales KPIs as set by the company.
  • Develop a clear and focused direct strategy aimed at seeding product into organizations, and to individuals, in order to trial product/s.
  • Develop a clear and focused direct sales strategy in order to sell products and convert organizations / individuals through previous seeding program.
  • Conduct direct sales through face to face meetings, events or affiliates at Schools, Sports Associations, Business clubs, Commercial Business, Government, etc. 

Qualifications:


  • Degree in the sales field or related

Key Competencies/Skills


Must have:


  • 3 - 5 years’ experience within the sales field preferably within the F&B, retail, FMCG or media industries
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Work, Power point
  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
