Job Description

Overview:


An Accountant managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. Including auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.


Responsibility: 


  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and laws
  • Manage all accounting transactions, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all financial transactions
  • Prepare regular financial reports that include balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Track and analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and forecast future financial trends
  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Effectively communicates financial information to both financials and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using accounting software and other financial management tools
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and identify areas for improvement
  • Look for ways to improve financial processes and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams, other departments, and external stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
  • Take minutes during meetings, and may analyse statistical data as required
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Represent the company on internal and external committees/organizations
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Senior Accountant in an orderly and efficient manner
  • Additional may be given as needed and when needed

Other:


  • Flexibility to accommodate after-hours commitments as needed
  • Willingness to work on weekends when necessary
  • Flexibility to travel as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting certification is preferred
  • 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in KSA
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to details and accuracy in work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in financial analysis and reporting
