Accounting Director

Our client is a well-established Food Manufacturing company with a diversified product portfolio. They are looking to hire a well experience Accounting Director for their head office in Riyadh.

The Accounting Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with organizational objectives.

Main Objectives:

1. Financial Leadership & Oversight:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and direction for the finance department.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and supervise the department, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Lead the team in preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand the financial implications of business initiatives and investments.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Work closely with the Finance team to develop and maintain the annual operating budget and long-term financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances against actual results.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve budget accuracy and operational efficiency.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting financial operations.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings.
