Your Opportunity  


The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. It includes but not limited to long-term management of assets, facilities, resources, and services to improve performance, reduce costs and manage the life cycle. In brief, the scope is for the provision of consulting, technical, management and administrative support for facilities and asset management works.


We are looking for a AMS Management Manager to support the FM Systems & Reporting Manager from an Asset Management perspective by adoption of Asset Management Systems and processes to effectively manage the client’s portfolio of assets.


The ideal candidate should have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification and analysis.


The AMS Management Manager will report into the FM Systems & Reporting Manager and will be based in Riyadh.


Key Accountabilities


  • Establishment and development of the overall asset management strategy
  • Identification and development of requirements, based on international best practices, to register & tag all kinds of assets
  • Identification and development of requirements, based on international best practices, to assess condition of critical assets
  • Asset management solution criteria, strategy & integration
  • Asset life cycle planning
  • Complete list of assets, including assessment of physical condition and standards of maintenance
  • Conduct related on-demand studies and analyses.
  • Capture asset hierarchy – parent / child by system
  • Identify any opportunities for automation/ remote condition assessment, etc
  • Investigate any shortfalls in service quality and propose/implement mitigation plans
  • Proposed maintenance regime in relation to the asset (what maintenance strategy plus a view on condition assessment regime)
  • Collaborate with Asset Management and participate in identifying, developing and selecting EAMS functionality (functional Requirements) and associated business processes and workflows.
  • Identify and document current or new EAMS functionality based on improved or new technologies to support the ability to provide technical and functional requirements
  • Support the matrixed organization in the effective delivery of complex contract deliverables across Asset Management practice, by holistically integrating topic thought leadership
  • Collect, review and manage requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Control for risks associated with asset management.
  • Handling of Asset management systems to make sound decisions based on appropriate data and information
  • Developing asset management strategies for all concerned facilities, which include, but are not limited to: asset management strategy, asset management plans, sustainability and energy saving plan, assessing the condition of assets and including their outcomes in maintenance plans, developing the necessary plans for renovation, sustainability and replacement requirements for facilities.
  • Support in the development of standards and procedures ready for automation programs and systems aided by the AMS information system.
  • Ensure commitment and compliance with automation standards and systems aided by AMS.
  • Transferring all updated performance measurement reports to an appropriate computerized asset management system based on the Ministry’s approval, to extract data so that they all can be suitable for automation process and circulating it to all Ministry facilities concerned with the project.
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by the FM Systems & Reporting Manager

Specific Requirements


  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of project management concepts and practices.
  • Familiarity with facilities operation consultancy is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field is mandatory
  • Master’s Degree is preferable
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels in the organisation and with external parties.
  • Ability to develop self and contribute to the development of others across the Team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategical skills.
  • Practical experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
