We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Architect Estimator who combines architectural expertise with cost estimation skills to provide accurate project cost assessments to join our partner company's team in KSA. Architect Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring that architectural projects are completed within budget constraints while meeting design requirements and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Design interpretation: Collaborating with architects to interpret design plans and specifications to determine the scope of work for cost estimation.
Cost estimation: Developing detailed cost estimates for architectural projects, including materials, labor, and other project-related expenses .
Quantity take-off: Conducting quantity take-offs from architectural drawings to determine the number of materials needed for construction .
Value engineering: Recommending cost-effective alternatives to architectural designs to optimize project costs without compromising quality .
Bid preparation: Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals by providing accurate cost estimates to potential clients.
Budget management: Working with project managers to develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs throughout the construction process .
Vendor and subcontractor coordination: Collaborating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services required for the project .
Cost analysis: Analyzing project costs, preparing cost reports, and identifying areas for cost savings or potential cost overruns .
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
Fluency in English is required.
Saudi Arabia nationality preferred, with a deep understanding of the local business culture, customs, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
