Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
Operate computer-aided design (CAD) equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms, and records.
Analyze drawings, blueprints, and design data to calculate correct part dimension for CNC machining.
Coordinate with engineers and fabricators to convert designs into CNC programming to ensure precision in final products.
Review and modify existing drawings and recommend changes to improve manufacturing and fabrication processes.
Assist in troubleshooting issues with CNC machine specifications and engineering principles.
Maintain technical coordination and extensive knowledge of current CNC technologies and trends in AutoCAD design.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and organizational policies during design and production phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal design solutions for manufacturing and production.
Conduct regular maintenance of CAD software and hardware, updating necessary tools and equipment as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer, with specific expertise in CNC machining processes.
