The Project and Development Services (PDS) division at JLL KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) oversees the planning, management, design, and construction of a variety of real estate projects, and plays a key role in the successful delivery of the property strategy. It's a role suited for innovative professionals who are driven to make a tangible impact on our clients' businesses.


Role: BIM Manager (KSA Nationals Only)


Location: Riyadh, KSA


BIM Manager Requirements:


  • Support the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess the current resources on current projects to ensure that they are sufficient to meet the project goals.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Develops BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Develops the client's digital handover strategy.
  • Adhering to the latest industry standards.
  • Producing monthly/Weekly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
  • Ensures security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.
  • Implements governance and assurance processes.
  • Monitors digital handover to completion.
  • Participates in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
  • Drafts project BIM/GIS management plans, scopes of work and specifications
  • Produces Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
  • Produces information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
  • Researches compliance with new regulations and governance.
  • Responsible for object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy.
  • Responsible for the Assurance and Checking of the Information Model.
  • Responsible for the Production of the Information Model.
  • Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances
  • Reviews Autodesk construction cloud account management and stay up to date on the latest Autodesk developments.
  • Reviews current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
  • Supports construction sequencing strategy using information models.
  • Supports JLL Cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models.
  • Provides training on using databases, analysing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.
  • Upskills the client team, JLL project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Collaborates with JLL PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the JLL Way.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
  • Develops & maintains a series of both internal and external relationships.
  • Manages & influences Key/Senior stakeholders.

Qualification (preferred) 


  • B.Sc in Construction Management or Engineering or B.Arch 

Specific Skills Required


  • Experienced user of cloud-based collaboration platforms, such as ACC, Aconex, Autodesk Field tools.
  • An advanced understanding of Content Management Library Systems, Autodesk Desktop Products, Autodesk Cloud Products, Validation and Verification Tools, Visualisation Tools & Databases.
  • Expert in Scan To BIM and BIM to Operations for Asset Management
  • Thorough understanding and experience in delivering and managing teams to deliver project data to industry standards (i.e. - IFC, COBie, etc)
  • Expert in BIM review software such as Navisworks or Solibri
  • Expert in BIM authoring software (Civil 3D, Autocad and Revit are essential)
  • Experience with programming or visual programming languages (dynamo) highly preferred.
  • Experience with managing client weekly meetings.
  • Experience with Project reporting (weekly dashboard and monthly reports)
  • Experience with facilitating workshops
  • Experience in writing formal reports and issue trackers

Experience


  • Minimum 5 years of BIM Project Management Experience and 3 years of hands-on BIM experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in scan to BIM experience.
  • 1-3 years experience in developing BIM & Digital Delivery standards.
  • 1-3 years experience in a client-facing role.
  • Minimum 8 years of AEC industry experience.
  • Middle EastProject Delivery experience is highly preferred.
