Chief Accountant

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with proven leadership skills and the ability to handle complex financial tasks. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and proper allocation of expenses.
• Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of financial statements.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary changes in the accounting processes and procedures.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the management.
