Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage shifts effectively to ensure a smooth and effective overall operation by guiding colleagues and personally involving himself in all required aspects of the Concierge.
  • Provide direction and support to all Concierge colleagues at any time, particularly during operational hours.
  • Act as a hotel “ambassador” at all times.
  • Ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Riyadh’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained at all times to reflect an image of professionalism and care.
  • Search for new attractions, restaurants, art galleries and entertainment in Riyadh city.
  • Help the Bell team when needed.
  • Attend and conduct meetings during the absence or unavailability of the management team.
  • Handle guests’ complaints
  • Help and support the Assistant Chief Concierge to run the Concierge desk.
  • Maintain a daily record of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations.
  • Assure the back and front of house areas of the reception are clean and tidy at all times.
  • Builds relationships with guests to delight and gain loyalty.
  • Distributes printed materials such as brochures of local attractions.
  • To perform and check all duties related to shift opening and closing checklist.
  • Provides all information pertaining to the hotel’s services and facilities.
  • Constantly identify areas for improvement in Concierge service quality through guest comments, comment cards and guest incident reports and share observations and recommendations with the Chief Concierge.
  • Communicate all important details to management and colleagues regarding internal and external events, resources, and possible challenges.
  • Assists guests in the recommendation and booking of restaurants and other entertainment and leisure activities as requested.
  • It is expected to have extensive and intimate knowledge of Riyadh and surrounding regions. This includes all modes of transportation, restaurants, retail, sightseeing, arts, sports activities, music concerts, historical areas and cultural activities. All recommendations must appear to be personal and insightful, as well as provide a city map.

Requirements:


  • Previous/current experience with the MOHG group, or 3-5 years with a 5-star hotel in a concierge or guest experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in both languages. (Arabic & English)
