Job Overview:


The role of a Copywriter/Social Media Coordinator involves creating compelling written content for various digital platforms and managing the organization's presence on social media channels. Responsibilities include crafting engaging copy, scheduling posts, responding to comments/messages, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  •  Develop engaging and creative copy for social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.


  • Write clear and attention-grabbing scripts for videos, social media posts, and push messages for mobile apps and notifications.


  • Develop creative concepts and ideas and create compelling ads for digital advertising campaigns across different channels to convey the message effectively (headlines, taglines,)


  • Ensuring that the tone & writing style is catchy & consistent with Abwaab’s identity and guidelines. 


  • Collaborate with the design team to develop visual concepts and ideas that complement the copy.


  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and social media marketing.


  • Using storytelling techniques to create stories that resonate with our target audience and evoke emotional responses.


  •  Adapt content to different platforms and channels, considering the uniqueness of everyone's requirements.


  • Research to gather information and views about the target audience, industry trends, and competitors


  • ⁠ Checking and editing copy for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and style consistency.


  • Meet strict deadlines for marketing campaigns and maintain copy quality and creativity.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.


  • 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency.


  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.


  • Proficiency in crafting concise and impactful copy that drives engagement and action.


  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective best practices for content creation and engagement.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.


  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


  • A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
