About the job Document Controller Manager

Our client is a leading contracting company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeking a skilled and experienced Document Controller Manager to join their team. As the Document Controller Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the document management function and ensuring the efficient and effective control, organization, and retrieval of company documents.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide subject matter expertise in document management and offer counsel to company leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of the strategic plan and overall organizational strategy.
  • Manage the achievement of department objectives by providing effective leadership, setting individual objectives, monitoring and measuring performance, and developing and motivating the team to maximize performance.
  • Oversee the consolidation and recommendation of the department budget, and monitor financial performance versus the budget to identify variances or areas for performance improvement.
  • Develop, lead, and monitor the implementation and adherence of department policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service consistently.
  • Establish a comprehensive classification system to categorize company documents, ensuring they are easily identifiable and accessible.
  • Lead the document review process, ensuring that all documents meet the company's standards before official adoption or dissemination.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in document management in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong administrative leadership skills and experience in management.
  • Excellent knowledge of document control practices, standards, and related software.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement document management systems and processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
