Environment Specialist - SAUDI FEMALE ONLY
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, developing and implementing environmental programs, and promoting environmental sustainability within our organization. You will play a crucial role in conducting environmental assessments, monitoring environmental performance, and providing technical expertise to support our environmental initiatives.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
- Conduct environmental assessments, including site inspections and audits, to identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and track environmental performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of environmental programs and initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on environmental matters, including pollution prevention, waste management, and resource conservation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business practices and decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on relevant environmental regulations, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on environmental responsibilities and best practices.
- Participate in environmental impact assessments for new projects or modifications to existing operations.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint of our organization.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:**
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
- Experience conducting environmental assessments, audits, and impact assessments.
- Knowledge of pollution prevention, waste management, and resource conservation practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using environmental software and tools.
- Certification in relevant environmental programs (e.g., ISO 14001, Environmental Impact Assessment) is a plus.
