FIELD ENGINEER

Summary

The Field Engineer is responsible for hands-on technical tasks, including site surveys, assisting with design evaluation, and supervising on-site work quality. This role requires direct involvement in the installation and inspection of network devices, cabling, and civil works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and facilitating the handover to site owner and platform owner.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and site surveys to make sure the right information is gathered and documented for site survey
• Assist the senior network engineer in evaluating LAN CCTV system designs, considering practical implementation aspects
• Supervise the quality of on-site work, including device installation, cabling, and adherence to civil work quality requirements
• Perform detailed inspections, documenting the quality of the implementation and compliance with standards
• Provide feedback, comments, and instructions to the site implementation team for corrective actions
• Facilitate the final handover of the CCTV system to the platform owner and site owner

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CCTV system installation and relevant civil works
• Working knowledge of CCTV system components and functionalities
• Understanding of cabling standards and best practices
• Familiar with civil work considerations and KSA industry standards for CCTV system installations
• 3+ years of field engineering experience, with specific involvement in network systems and CCTV implementations
• Demonstrated experience in conducting site surveys and quality inspections
• Proven track record of supervising technical teams and ensuring high-quality installation standards
• Experience with the handover process of technical systems to clients or system owners
• Proficient in Arabic and English to effectively communicate with project teams and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, and civil work related to CCTV installations
• Ability to interpret and evaluate technical designs (AutoCAD)
• Skilled in documenting procedures, findings, and providing clear instructions to implementation teams
