- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate system integration during building construction or retrofitting.
- Develop and program fire alarm control panels, detectors, sensors, and other components to meet project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and modify programming as needed to ensure proper system functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fire protection systems to identify and address issues before they become critical.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and system performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults, malfunctions, or failures in fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.
- Ensure all installed systems comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Communicate with clients and building occupants to address their concerns, provide system training, and ensure customer satisfaction.
