Role Purpose


NEOM will be an accelerator of human progress and key to this will be the development of its people.


The Education, Research and Innovation Sector aims to transform education into a lifelong experience that utilizes cutting-edge, high-tech, and personalized learning capabilities, and inspires the world’s greatest minds (ERI strategy 2020).​


This important role will ensure that KSA nationals and international candidates understand how to access high-quality training placements, jobs and Apprenticeships within NEOM  


Building a database of Talent for NEOM employers to access


Working closely with our CSR team the post holder will be responsible for the creation and delivery of our careers, recruitment and attraction services, bringing the best and brightest talent to NEOM.  


They will also be a very important member of our senior management team and expected to play a significant role in the development of Vocational learning across NEOM as we move from strategy to implementation.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES



Planning & strategy


Support the Talent Academy Director in creating a world-class framework for Technical and Vocational training by:


  • Setting up an efficient and effective careers service
  • Ensuring that NEOM is considered to be the most attractive place to live and work
  • Attracting global Talent and also building pathways for local KSA nationals to enter high-quality employment​
  • Create access to our leading system of Work Experience and Apprenticeship programs
  • Ensure that Schools and Careers services understand and prepare young people for job opportunities within NEOM
  • Drafting our initial policies and procedures for this area

Service delivery  


  • Work with our CSR team to build pathways for the brightest young minds to enter NEOM
  • Establish and support Apprenticeship employment options at key NEOM employers
  • Develop the Standard Operating Procedures for this area
  • Building productive links with local, national and international partners
  • Liaising with employment sectors and employers to understand their skills needs
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure that courses and candidates align to meet employer’s needs

Operational focus


  • Forge productive local, national and international partnerships
  • Oversee the development of web services including a vacancy ‘matching’ system
  • Build a service delivery team capable of supporting high volumes of candidates
  • Implement a data capture system that accurately and reliably captures candidate interest and application data

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of managing a careers service or corporate recruitment program
