The Manager Research Integrity & Ethics is responsible for and will have substantial demonstrated experience in the operation of an effective research integrity and ethics environment, and establishing key oversight committees, including the Research Conduct Committee (RCC), Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). The role is responsible for providing oversight of specialist as well as administrative support and training for research conduct, integrity, research involving humans and animals, and compliance with biohazards and other areas in the ERIF portfolio.
The Manager Research Integrity & Ethics will work closely with the Head of Research Governance to establish and maintain a healthy culture of research integrity, ethics, and compliance, compatible with the highest international standards. and will be instrumental in the ongoing development of institutional policies, processes, systems, and authorizations, including research permits, licenses, and accreditations.
