We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Logistics Manager with a minimum of 15 years of extensive experience specifically in managing logistics operations for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire logistics process within the context of PMC initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop comprehensive logistics plans tailored to PMC projects, considering project timelines, milestones, and unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align logistics strategies with project goals.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution, with a focus on PMC projects.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and logistics partners specific to PMC projects.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Stay abreast of customs regulations, international shipping requirements, and project-specific compliance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations in the logistics process.
  • Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations within PMC projects.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising project timelines or quality.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute logistics strategies specific to project sites.
  • Optimize distribution networks to support on-site requirements.
  • Identify potential risks in the logistics process related to PMC projects and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations in PMC projects.
  • Provide regular reports on logistics performance to project stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the logistics team working on PMC projects, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination within the logistics team and with other project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, specifically within PMC projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing logistics for large-scale PMC initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics software and supply chain management tools.
  • Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with project management consultancy processes and requirements.
  • Experience implementing and managing ERP systems.
