Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced water network Mechanical Technician to join our team in Alqasim, Saudi Arabia. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of our machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, assemble, and test mechanical equipment and systems according to blueprints and technical specifications.
2. Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to identify and resolve any mechanical issues.
3. Repair or replace defective parts in machinery, such as pumps and pipes .
4. Perform diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of mechanical failures and implement appropriate solutions.
5. Calibrate and adjust mechanical components to ensure accurate operation and performance.
6. Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
8. Train and mentor junior technicians on proper maintenance and repair techniques.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
10. Keep up-to-date with advancements in mechanical technology and industry best practices.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.
2. Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and tools.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
6. Experience with preventive maintenance procedures and practices.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
10. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
