Retailo Technologies is seeking a dedicated and experienced National Fleet Manager to oversee the management and optimization of the company's entire fleet of vehicles. The National Fleet Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our clients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Fleet Management:
Manage and oversee Retailo's entire fleet of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and delivery vehicles.
Ensure the fleet is well-maintained, safe, and in optimal working condition at all times.
Implement efficient route planning and tracking systems to maximize delivery efficiency.
2- Safety and Compliance:
Uphold and enforce safety and regulatory standards for all fleet operations.
Conduct regular safety training for drivers and other fleet personnel.
Ensure all vehicles are compliant with legal requirements and perform regular safety
checks.
3- Maintenance and Repairs:
Schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs, including routine service and unexpected repairs.
Work with maintenance teams and external service providers to keep the fleet in excellent condition.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns.
4- Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the performance of the fleet, including on-time delivery rates and fuel efficiency.
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Report on fleet performance to senior management.
5- Budget Management:
Develop and manage the fleet budget, including expenses related to fuel, maintenance, and vehicle acquisition.
Identify cost-saving measures without compromising safety and quality.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in fleet management, ideally in the logistics or transportation sector.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations for fleet operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Problem-solving ability and a focus on continuous improvement.
Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position, and the National Fleet Manager will report directly to the National Operations Manager.
