Job Description and Qualifications Position Summary : To direct, control the construction execution of projects, under the leadership of the Construction Manager, involving high technology equipment, engineering, and services to achieve project completion on time, within budget and at the required levels of quality taking into account safety, quality and reliability. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
Reviewing and approving contractor inspection and test plans for insulation and coatings.
Reviewing contractor quantity take off from design drawings.
Assisting contractor with developing and approving coatings work packages and releases.
Assisting contractor with development of work plan and schedule.
Reviewing and approving contractor permanent plant material requisitions for coatings
Tracking contractor calibration records for measurement and test equipment.
Performing in-progress inspections of coatings work.
Validating contractor quantity reporting.
Assisting contractor with identifying and resolving non-conformances and constructability issues.
Leading final system walkdowns and developing and tracking punch lists.
Reviewing and approving contractor inspection and test records.
Verifying contractor module turnover documentation is complete and acceptable.
Participating in contractor and Air Products safety programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma or Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
10 years of related work experience in industrial construction.
Knowledge of QA/QC system requirements
Knowledge of national/international and project specific quality standards and regulations
Strong verbal communication
Ability to perform repetitive movements.
Strong decision-making skills
