QAQC Material Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled QAQC & Material Engineer with a minimum of 12 years of experience to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, as well as manage materials used in construction projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to quality standards, compliance with regulations, and the effective use of materials in construction activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QAQC plans.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Implement corrective actions for identified non-conformities.
• Oversee the selection, testing, and approval of construction materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Conduct material testing and analysis to verify compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of QAQC activities, inspection reports, and material test results.
• Generate comprehensive reports for project stakeholders.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of QAQC processes.
• Work with third-party auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide training on QAQC procedures and material specifications to project teams.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about local and international regulations related to QAQC and materials used in construction.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned from previous projects.
• Participate in post-project reviews to identify areas for enhancement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in QAQC and material engineering within the construction industry.
• Professional certifications related to QAQC and materials are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address quality issues.
• Proficient in using QAQC software and tools.
