Reliability Engineer - Rotating Equipment

As a Reliability Engineer - Rotating Equipment, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and improvement of the reliability, availability, and performance of rotating equipment within the company. You will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to develop and implement strategies that optimize the performance and minimize downtime.

• Evaluate equipment failure modes and utilize engineering experience and training to develop solutions for eliminating/mitigating potential failure
• Advise and confer with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings and recommendations
• Review engineering specifications/drawings and propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements
• Monitor equipment performance and evaluate equipment history and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance
• Partner with other manufacturing locations to develop Reliability Best Practices and to collaboratively work through common issues.
• Develop/Update Assets Obsolescence Management Program, for all types of Equipment (Electrical, Mechanical, Rotating, Instrumentation and process automation)
• Develop/Update Asset Criticality Assessment with clear understanding of the ranking criteria.
• Familiar with Reliability Centered Maintenance RCM and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Enhance Assets Maintenance Strategies for all types of equipment.
• Identify/Develop and monitor asset performance KPI’s.
• Develop and monitor Equipment switchover program.
• Be the focal point for the Bad Actor program and verify the implementation of action plan till the graduation.
• Identify new technologies and techniques to assist the organization culture change and move towards the condition based and proactive maintenance strategies.
