The history of Detecon Al Saudia Co. Ltd. goes back to 1982: starting with a small team of German telecom specialists expanding and modernizing the Telex network in Saudi Arabia. With the reputation built on this initial contract, Detecon al Saudia operated and maintained all major telecom networks and services implemented by the Ministry of PTT/Saudi Telecom ever since. In 2004 Detecon Al Saudia became a licensed VSAT service provider and quickly gained a leading position in the market.
