Develop efficient, secure, and scalable server-side code using PHP and appropriate frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
Design and implement databases, including creating and optimizing database schemas, writing efficient SQL queries, and managing data migrations.
Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enable data exchange and functionality enhancements.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, ensuring secure access control to web applications.
Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, improving code efficiency, and implementing caching mechanisms.
Collaborate with the testing team to identify and fix bugs, perform code reviews, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in PHP development and web development in general.
Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Proficiency in PHP, with a solid understanding of its syntax, features, and ecosystem.
Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party services.
Knowledge of server configurations, hosting environments, and deployment processes.
Familiarity with front-end development technologies and frameworks is a plus.
