They specialise in managing and delivering complex contracts to major clients and are experts in meeting environmental and health and safety requirements. They have also won numerous industry awards over the years.

This role will involve:
• Working alongside country director to develop business with existing and potential clients
• Identify new opportunities within the local and international market
• Developing business in a professional manner through ALL available methods
• Competitor and market analysis
• Tenders and competitive tenders to a variety of client types for various services

For the role of Business Development Manager we are searching for candidates who:
• Have extensive experience of contract tendering
• Have a PROVEN track record of pro-active business development
• Experienced within facilities management / outsourced catering services
• Experience of the complex and growing market within the South East Asian Market

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEERS Job - Camino Asia Pte Ltd.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Employee will be required to undertake the following duties:
• Tender and feed engineering design for EPC (Engineer Procure & Construct) and D&B (Design & Build) bids
• Assistance in tender estimates
• Detail design for EPC and D&B projects
• Management of design consultants engaged by MacDow for EPC and D&B tenders and projects
• Attendance of design meetings with Client, Consultants and Local Authorities
• Supervision of draftsmen for preparation of drawings
• Coordination with site regarding design issues during construction
• Attendance of Factory Acceptance Tests for purchased electrical equipment
• Assist in testing & commissioning at site
• Provide engineering support for other business activities (such as Business Development) as required
• Any other activities as requested by the M&E Engineering Manager and as is relevant to the employee’s experience and qualification

Core Technical Competencies:
The Employee will have (or need to develop) the following technical capabilities for systems up to 22kV:
• Conceptual planning of electrical power distribution
• Electrical load scheduling (tabulation of loads together with their power factors and efficiencies) and application of diversity factors to loads
• Circuit breaker sizing & selection
• Single line diagram design including selection & specification of all protective relays and meters
• Design of motor control circuits
• Cable specification
• Voltage drop calculations & cable sizing
• Busbar specification, selection & sizing
• Cable support system selection and design
• Electrical equipment (Transformer, Generator, UPS, VSD etc) sizing, selection and specification
• Relay coordination study and selection of relay/breaker settings
• Fault level calculations
• Earthing system design including sizing of conductors and selection & design of earth conductors
• Lightning protection design
• Lighting selection, design and calculation
• Fire alarm system design
• Good working knowledge of Singapore Electrical Standards as follows: CP5 (Electrical Installations), SS 551 (Earthing), CP 33 (Lightning Protection), CP 88 (Temporary Electrical Installations), SS 531 (Lighting), CP 19 (Emergency Lighting), SS 535 (Standby Generating Systems), CP 10 (Fire Alarm)
• Overview knowledge of relevant international codes (such as IEC)

Additional Technical Competencies:
The Employee will have sufficient knowledge of the following areas in order to manage specialist engineers or suppliers:
• Control Systems including SCADA/PLC/DCS systems
• Understanding of ladder logic and relay logic
• Overview knowledge of ELV systems such as Telephone, CCTV, Security, PA, Radio Comms

Experience:5-12 years
should be either Singapore National, Singapore PR or EP

Technical Skills:

• Steady state piping flow design for fluids (eg water, hydrocarbons) and gases (eg compressed air, nitrogen, fuel gas)
• Transient flow analysis for pipelines
• Piping design (selection/specification of piping materials and components), layout design, support design
• Pump selection/specification. Advanced knowledge of different pump types. Pump similarity (affinity) laws.
• Advanced rotating equipment selection/specification requiring thermodynamic knowledge (eg gas compressors)
• Steam system design (boilers, steam & condensate piping, traps, equipment etc)
• Thermal analysis (thermal transfer, heat loss, heat exchanger design)
• Other equipment (rotating and other) selection/specification (mixers, air compressors, diesel generators)
• Pressure vessel design (to ASME and/or European codes)
• Storage tank design (to API and/or other codes)
• Material selection for piping and equipment for fluid/process/environment compatibility
• Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control & power systems
• Material handling (conveying systems, material handling equipment, slurry systems)
• Mechanics of materials including basic static analysis & design of steel structures
• Commonly used mechanical engineering software (eg for pipe flow analysis, structural design, pipe stress analysis, pressure vessel design, storage tank design etc)
• Autocad or equivalent CAD software

Additional (but non-essential) skills:

• Advanced engineering knowledge in a specialised field (eg Computational Fluid Dynamics)
• Piping stress analysis
