Well, being an engineer is quite challenging but what's the meaning of life if it doesn't bring challenges in our way. Since I work as a sales engineer, my profession covers a diversified field of sales, business development, marketing and engineering which forces me to travel to places around as and when required. Travelling is a major part of my life that I love the most. So, being an engineer has a lot of benefits which includes hassle free visa on arrival in many countries including Dubai. There's a priority during government works (Medical tests, Driver's license etc) and no need of waiting in long queues. Besides client meetings are regularly held at sophisticated places where I get to meet professionals from aroung the globe helping me to learn from the experiences of people from different cultures and professions while simultaneously having a healthy conversation with them. These are the things that I enjoy the most...

The best part about engineering is getting involved in problems when everyone else seem to be helpless.
Finding the root cause of a problem and coming up with the proper way to solve it and avoid having it in the future is absolutely something worth the effort.
Designing complicated schemes could be challenging sometimes, it keeps the engineer excited about finding a solution.
And above all that, being an engineer reflects your ability to learn and cope with new problems in a proficient way.
