As an engineer, do you solve problems with your hands or just your head?

Head is compulsory but some times you have to use hands to implement your head properly.

Problem solving is an art that requires a proper combination of both, hands and brains. Though the usage of brains is necessary in all cases including usage of hands. however usage of brain alone should be tactfully done to solve problems. In that case, it completely depends on the nature of problem...

Must be with my head, but if its needed to use my hands its not a shame. Sometimes your forman or your labors can not understand you, so you can show them how to do.

Obviously Head. Its brain. It can give wonderful and efficient solution most of the time. Its Almighty's best gift for us.

 

Even where hands are required, we need to guide technicians with our head. 

 

Overall its mix but75% weightage is for Head.
