In a large Company there is Corporate culture prevailing and has many facilities available. In that employees make Society, Social media is one of their wings, a part from Company providing amenity, wimming pools, club, Town lighting, Roads Hospital, Schools & colleges, Shopping mall and so on. Some companies have their own Social & welfare department to lookafter Social media, publishing, bulletin, weekly & monthly news papers, magazines, Organising Sports etc.

Which are the key positions and tasks in a Social Media team? It depends on your objectives and size/structure of the organization. At a very minimum, having an experienced team leader on staff with a good % of their time allocated towards social media activities is essential. A few basic things to work out: Have clear objectives and a strategy. Getting other members of your organization to participate is much easier if they understand goals, and how their efforts will help. Focus on your primary platform(s), and provide basic training on best practices in building networks and sharing information and ideas. It’s great to explore and experiment on other platforms in developing your strategy, but for your team efforts focus only on those where you’re confident results will justify the effort. Develop and maintain key brand presences. For a news/blog site, this can be a combination of auto-feed and moderated account(s), with possible specializations by category, depending on the potential audience size and level of engagement for that topic. If your resources are limited, consider an auto-feed account that is also periodically and consistently moderated at times of day when your audience is more active. Follow what your competitors and related sites are doing, and what techniques are working for them. Periodically audit the activities of other members of your team, looking in particular at frequency, consistency and engagement with others. Identify the enthusiasts on your team, and reinforce their efforts. Personalities/columnists on a newspaper tend to be more interested in building their brand on social media than reporters, although it can also be a great tool for beat reporters to identify and connect with new sources. Consider financial incentive programs that recognize the time commitment of team members, and that align with achieving your business objectives. A combination of individual and team goals can boost motivation, but also keep in mind the potential conflicts of interest this can cause for an editorial group. The number of people and their activities really depend on how active your audience is, and to what degree you want to engage them. Having a clear and coherent strategy is essential for getting buy-in and support, and will ensure greater likelihood of success.
