Rate project management as a career on a scale from one to ten?

actually it depends on your performance and interest.9

With production in construction industry at its all time high, there is a great demand for project managers. On a scale of1-10 it is the best career to have for the future, a definite10!

I go for9, cause the remaining1 is for my self.

Actually it depends on performance KPI. How do you  measure the performance? It may be qualitative and quantitative. I think project management is a risky job and most of time unemployment due to project period end. So, I will rate according to the KPI.

The project Management is a high risky job due to the very unknown factors and entities involved in the job progress and adherence to the project schedule especially when different entities are involved in the engineering, permit issuing, revision of submittals and  the lack of clarity in the scope which will impose delays and extra works which have not accounted for during the bidding phase.

Therefore, the project manager shall be able to assess the risks, evaluate their impact time and cost wise and try to find mitigation plans to reduce the burden on the project and avoid delays.

  Theretofore i would give it10
